I've spent over thirty years building businesses, more of them than I can count on two hands. Computer consultant, bookkeeper, college instructor, interior designer, author. Each one taught me something the last one couldn't.

My first job out of college was at Universal Studios in Hollywood, setting up computers for TV writers. I left after about a year, pregnant with my first child and ready for something that was mine.

I built a home computer consulting business right as personal computers were becoming a household staple, then pivoted into bookkeeping when I realized I had a real knack for it. My clients were entrepreneurs of every kind: contractors, florists, designers, makers. I found most of them through a class I created at my local community college, which sold out the very first time I offered it.

One of those students happened to be married to a successful interior designer. I became her bookkeeper, learned the business inside and out, and eventually founded Kami Gray Interiors, which I ran successfully for fifteen years.

That run led me into my next love: teaching and mentoring. I founded Psychologie of Home, an education program for interior designers, and over the years delivered 25 five-day workshops and mentored 40 designers. I also spent time teaching entrepreneurship at the university level.

Somewhere along the way I realized the throughline in all of it wasn't interior design. It was entrepreneurship itself, and helping people see the business that was already right in front of them.

That's the work I do now. I sit down with entrepreneurs, look honestly at what they're building, and help them find the clarity, pricing, and positioning that actually pays them.

If you're trying to build a business that earns you a real living doing something you love, I'd like to help.

What I Do…

I sit down with you, look at what you’re actually building, and tell you the truth. Not the nice version. The useful one.

We figure out what’s broken, what’s working, what to cut, and what your next real move is.

You leave with a clear offer, a clear message, and a 90-day plan you’ll actually follow because you made it with someone who pushed back when it needed pushing

I’ve done this for thirty years.

I’m really good at it.

A wooden desk with a potted plant, an open leather notebook with a pen, a blue coffee mug, and a folded gray cloth or sweater, situated in front of a wooden wall with windows.
